Sometimes when it’s a work day and I have to run around town, the last thing I want to wear is heels. Don’t get me wrong, heels are my favorite. They are pretty, they make your legs look long, and they just put a little girly pep in your step. That girly pep, however, turns into an awkward limp by the end of the day. {Please tell me you know what I mean!} And the blisters that come the next morning are never worth it. My tip..find a flat that looks just as cute as a heel and you’re good to go for an 8 hour + day! I have been obsessed with these black lace-up flats for the longest time. It’s kind of a ballerina flat meets a gladiator sandal. Feminine, yet a little edgy too! I’ve gotten so many compliments on them and it’s hard to not wear them all the time!

Austin is so fun you guys! I’m having a blast and wish I could stay longer. Yesterday I walked around South Congress, got coffee at Jo’s {Iced Turbo of course!}, and listened to some bands play at the Nylon party. I was so exhausted from my 6am flight, but I tried to have as much energy as possible. The coffee definitely helped! Can’t wait to do more today! I’m planning on doing a wrap-up post when I get back sharing some of the spots I visited!
