I’m still thinking about how fun our weekend was in the desert. There was a lot of excitement in the air because of Coachella, and of course some great people watching. Everyone really embraced festival style in one way or another, whether that was with crocheted dresses, distressed denim, or gold temporary tattoos. When I got home I was trying to find ways to make that laid-back cool festival style accessible for the everyday. Details like embroidery are a must during the springtime, and definitely a staple at any music festival, so I paired this pretty eyelet, embroidered skirt from Old Navy with a classic short-sleeve button-up. The skirt is flowy and the button-up features modern blue and white stripes. Both of these pieces are very lightweight, making them ideal for packing away into a suitcase, or wearing on your road trip adventures! I love casual outfits that still have a little bit of a polished element. I added a panama hat, a big tote and some comfortable wedges to finish the look off!
Have you started to embrace spring clothing yet? Hopefully it’s started to warm up wherever you are! You could always pair this skirt with a lightweight sweater, which is another versatile item for traveling. I’m heading to Texas today so I’ll definitely be bringing one along with me!
Happy Friday everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by!
