You know those times when you’re passing through a store, not really intending on buying anything, and yet you see something you can’t resist? That was the situation with this dress! It was a chilly day in LA and I stopped into Nordstrom just to take a peak. I saw this embroidered, strapless dress and immediately saw visions of warm days, sandals, hats, pool time, and long story short- I bought it! {The under $100 price tag definitely helped, too!}. Last week it was warm enough, so I paired this dress with a floppy hat {last worn here!}, and these nude lace-up sandals! I can see myself wearing this dress a bunch over the next several months. I’m totally regretting not bringing it to the desert last weekend, though. It would have been PERFECT!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I’m getting so excited because in a few short days I’m heading to Dallas, Texas for the Academy of Country Music Awards. I’m going for a fun weekend with Mary Kay {a Dallas-based beauty brand that’s internationally known and recognized}, and some other bloggers {some I know and others I’m dying to meet!}.
