You know by now that I’m a dress girl, no matter the season. Even those of you more comfortable in jeans and pants can’t ignore how easy dresses are in the summertime, though. When it’s in the 80s and 90s, the last thing you really want is excess fabric that will raise your body temperature and make you sweat. Dresses seem like the easy solution, and you can always add a light sweater or jacket to go into the evening. A striped shirtdress just screams summer to me; it’s comfortable and casual dressing at its best. I found this one at Old Navy for an under $30 steal and knew it would be a versatile piece over the next few months. I love belting shirtdresses to give them a feminine element and I paired the look with another summer classic, a white denim jacket!
