It’s been awhile since I’ve worn a matching set! Last fall, I wore a pretty blue houndstooth top and skirt {check out that dark hair with no bangs!}. I wore it quite a bit, and one of the things I loved was that I could wear the top on it’s own, or together with the skirt. And vise versa.
When I first saw this set I originally was drawn to the skirt. I’ve been looking for a pretty cream, full midi-length skirt and had almost labeled it as impossible. During summer, longer lengths can be so difficult to find! I like that the skirt has a little bit of texture with a subtle chevron-stitched pattern. It’s a piece that you could easily wear year-round!
