Lace is one of my favorite materials. There’s a soft and feminine quality to it that I love. Lace looks especially good for evenings, but what about daytime? I decided to dress down this skirt with a button up and knit sweater. The look seemed so ladylike that I figured I had to add a pair of leopard heels and a chunky pearl necklace. It has kind of a Gossip Girl feel to it, which I’ll admit I totally love! One of these days I’ll have to re-watch that show from the beginning!

Hope you all are having a great weekend! Matthew and I were in Laguna for the day yesterday which was a lot of fun! The weather felt like summer- 80 degrees in November! Can you believe that?! We walked around, ate lunch, and even got an ice cream cone! I’ll be sharing photos from our day trip next week!
