Every year, without fail, I can guess one item my mom will give me for Christmas in my stocking? Any guesses? It’s a tube of Burt’s Bees lip balm. It’s my favorite stocking stuffer gift! I’ve been obsessed with Burt’s Bees products since high school and have had more lip balm tubes than I can count. What’s always attracted me to Burt’s Bees was the natural element and philosophy. The idea that you’re putting a product on your body that’s not only good for you but also good for the planet. They were making natural and responsible packaging way back before everyone was doing it! On my recent trip to Miami I brought along this Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser. It’s a 99% natural face cleanser that helps remove makeup while also hydrating your skin. It’s infused with clary sage which is one of my favorite herbs. It just smells so fresh!
Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Lotion
I take my lotion like I take my tea, with milk and honey! Both these ingredients make for a moisturizing lotion. The Burt’s Bees Milk & Honey lotion is non-greasy and absorbs quickly, yet it will keep you skin hydrated for up to 24 hours!
Without a doubt you’ll find a Burt’s Bees lip balm at the bottom of my purse! Their lip balms are the best ones out there in my opinion. It’s a natural way to moisturize and hydrate your lips without chemicals. Plus, since I wear so much lipstick, I need a good balm to keep my lips soft! You can’t go wrong with the original, but the Vanilla Bean one has quickly become a new favorite!
After the lip balm, you’ll definitely find a cuticle cream in my bag. This has been a product I’ve only gotten into in recent years but it’s a Burt’s Bees classic. If you paint your nails a lot, or just want to keep your nails in tip top shape, this cuticle cream is a must. It moisturizes and softens your cuticles along with nourishing brittle nails. If you’re had one gel mani too many, this cream has your name on it!
I tend to forget about putting lotion on my feet until the point of almost no return! My trick though is put on the Coconut Foot Cream every night before I go to sleep. It’s become a bit of a routine; I get in bed, apply the cream, and then put on some socks. In the morning, my feet are practically baby soft! Burt’s Bees foot cream also has rosemary and peppermint extracts, so it’s especially soothing before bedtime.
If you’ve never tried Burt’s Bees I would definitely say you need to get your bootie over to the store and check it out! Their holiday kit is at Walmart and it’s the perfect introduction to the brand and would be an easy and affordable holiday gift or stocking stuffer. The kits are under $8! You seriously can’t beat it, especially for natural skincare!
