This has been one of my favorite December’s because, for the most part, it’s actually felt like winter. Well, a Southern California winter that is! The weather is crisp and cool which means I’m able to make good use of my coats and cardigans! Today I’m styling two December outfits with Old Navy today: a dressed up casual look and one that’s perfect for the rainy, El Nino days of winter ahead!
OUTFIT 1: cardigan . sweater {only $20!} . jeans . heels . purse . sunglasses
You know I love my light neutrals, even in winter, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that I fell in love with this cozy cardigan from Old Navy! The color palette is perfect! I paired it with a chunky turtleneck sweater and a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans for a casual afternoon. To dress the look up just a bit I added a pair of pointy heels with gold accents. Metallics make the outfit more holiday festive, so I also added this rose gold cross body bag {I loved this yellow one during summer!} This purse would be a great and affordable gift for your friends! You can stuff it with some cute socks or stocking stuffers under $15!
OUTFIT 2: dress . vest . beanie . boots . bag . extensions {$5 off with code LUXYMARA}
I was in Seattle for a few days earlier this week and got a nice little taste of those rainy days! I’m one of those weird people that actually loves the rain so it made me happy to think we’ll be getting a lot more of it this winter. This gray plaid dress is one of my favorites because of how comfortable it is! If you remember, I wore this blue one all over Portugal! Adding a puffy vest is a great way to add an extra layer of warmth. I’m thinking a puffy vest would be a great gift for Matthew too, and Old Navy has a bunch of good options for the guys!
Old Navy is having some huuuge sales right now, with items up to 60% off sitewide, so you can get the perfect gift for anyone on your list!
Have a great weekend everyone!
