Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I can’t wait. This year is the first in many that Matthew and I will be able to celebrate it together. Last year, I had a Galentine’s Date with some girlfriends in New York City during Fashion Week, and the year before that Matthew’s flight was delayed from a work trip and he didn’t get back until just after midnight on the 14th. While celebrating a few days after doesn’t really make that much of a difference, I’m excited to have a whole Valentine’s Day weekend with my favorite guy.

One of the things I love about Valentine’s Day is all the red and pink, my two favorite colors! I’ve seen these fringe and tassel sandals on a few girls and love them! They make such a fun statement and I know I’d get a ton of good use out of them. You can’t go wrong with a light pink lipstick, and this one from Charlotte Tilbury comes in the prettiest tube!

I love getting Matthew fun things for Valentine’s Day! I know he’d get a kick out of these xoxo boxers, or these sneakers with the hidden heart. Matthew is really into music so a new pair of headphones would go over well, or a sleek black watch! Heading into spring, I know he’s appreciate this pair of sunglasses! We just need to plan a warm-weather trip to go along with it!
