If there’s one thing I know we can all agree on it, it’s that weekends come and go way too quickly. Lately Matthew and I have been trying to plan as many fun things as possible to fill our days off, whether it’s a drive down to San Diego, or if it’s just exploring our own little town. One of our favorite things to do on a Sunday outing is go down to the beach and grab something sweet. Acai bowls are perfect right after a morning hike, but sometimes you just want a big fluffy cloud of cotton candy! Cotton candy is such a springtime treat for me. It reminds me of afternoons at my church’s spring festival growing up. I always loved seeing the cotton candy spun into a perfect pillow shape. It was so mesmerizing!
Another springtime favorite is gingham, so I’m so happy I’ve been seeing so much of it this year. I found this gingham two-piece set at Ann Taylor and had to get it! The bow detail on the top is so cute and I love that I can wear both these pieces separately, as well as together.
