One of the most exciting things about pregnancy is sharing it with friends and family! I feel blessed to have some close friends going through motherhood at the same time as I am, but it’s also been amazing to talk with my mom, mother-in-law, and sister-in-laws. Their love and support has been so helpful in keeping my stress levels down and excitement up! Lately I can’t stop thinking about the fun showers they have planned in LA and San Diego. It’s going to be so nice to hang out, talk about pregnancy and mommy things, and shower this baby with love!
I picked some adorable invites from Shutterfly that I felt would be perfect for my shower in LA. Shutterfly has been one of my go-to sites in the past for not only invites {I got my Grad invites here!}, but also photo books and personalized gifts! I try to create a photo book at the end of each year with photos I’ve taken because otherwise they’ll just stay on my phone or computer forever.
I loved the selection of Baby Shower invites and ended up choosing this sweet card with the bunny and baby chick standing under an umbrella with raining hearts. I love the vintage illustration; it actually reminds me of a book I had when I was a baby! I felt like this card would be a great choice for the shower, and it works for a baby boy or girl! The scalloped edges give it a whimsical touch too!
These showers are also making everything feel a lot more real! It’s hard to believe in a few months Matthew and I will have a baby. {Didn’t we just get married?!} I know time is going to go by so quickly so I definitely want to enjoy this time while we can!
