One of my biggest shopping weaknesses is buying items for our house. I get way too excited about updating our place with printed pillows, a new candle, or a comfy throw. In another life I think it would be so fun to be an interior designer. I love how a new mirror or a different rug can totally transform a space. It shows how you don’t have to do much to freshen up the home and give it a whole new feel. Here are some of the items I’ve been looking at lately to spruce up our place. Bonus points because they’re ALL on sale!!

FRESHEN UP THE HOME…ON A BUDGET!

I know many people don’t immediately think of Nordstrom when it comes to home items, but they have a really good selection. While I was browsing the sale last week, I came across these amazing items above for a crazy discount! If you want to learn more about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I shared details in my post last week.

I especially love this woven basket which would be great as a hamper, or to store extra blankets {like this one with the poms!}, or even children’s toys. It looks so expensive but it’s under $40!

There are also a ton of good candle selections. I’m a sucker for Voluspa {this trio set is under $30!} but I also love the look of this hobnail glass candle. It would make such a great gift, too!

If you’re looking to update a room I think this gold hexagon mirror and this jute and cotton rug would be perfect! It would give a natural, boho-vibe to the space.

Do you go crazy for home items too? I swear this isn’t just me in nesting mode…but it probably doesn’t help!
