Because unlike most sales the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is all about the new styles! While other sales push out old inventory that they’re trying to get rid of, Nordstrom {because they’re the best retailer ever} allows you to shop the new, upcoming styles from the fall collections at mega discounts for a limited time! So here is what to know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as well as my favorite picks!

This is the perfect opportunity to buy a new handbag for fall! I love all the buttery brown satchels {this one in particular has my name all over it!} And who can resist this diamond stitched Tory Burch Hobo?! It’s over $150 off! This tassel crossbody bag is a killer of a steal under $30 too!!

Oh I don’t even know where to begin with the shoes! I am such a shoe girl and there are so many incredible sales on these new styles! You’ll rarely get Tory Burch riding boots this cheap. Ever! Or these Hunter rain boots! If you’re wanting to get those Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots, these are an absolute must! Or you can get this style which I have and love that’s under $200! These Nike Free sneakers are super cute too!

There are so many great clothing items on sale! I love this faux leather pleated skirt that’s under $100, this suede vest, and this gorgeous bow detail dress that’s so classic in the black and white! There are also some great staples, like this Vince Cashmere Sweater that you’ll wear all fall and winter, or this pair of dark wash Hudson jeans that’s over 50% off!

Hurry up and get this Rag & Bone hat while you can! It’s so cute and will be the best fall accessory! Another fall staple? This oversized plaid scarf that’s under $25! You can also invest in a pair of designer sunnies for way cheaper than normal!
FAVORITE CHILDREN’S ITEMS ON SALE
Oh there are so many great kids items on sale! Why are we waiting to find out the gender again?! If I knew we were having a girl I would totally scoop up this absolutely adorable floral romper or these cute little rose gold mary jane shoes! And if we knew we were having a boy, these little Adidas sneakers would be perfect! Or this blue striped outfit! Instead, I’m forced to be a little more practical, which is probably a good thing! The stroller system I’ve had my eye on is on a crazy crazy sale so I’m definitely getting it! Also, I’ve been wanting a baby food maker and this one has amazing reviews! There’s also this travel crib, in a perfectly neutral color, that will be great to take when we visit our family in San Diego.

If you’re a Nordstrom card holder you get to shop the cream of the crop starting today! The best items definitely sell out fast, and often before the sale is open to the public, so by having a card you’ll have better luck. And if you’re not into getting the credit card, there’s always the debit card option! It works the same as the credit card but the money is pulled from your personal checking account. So easy! Shop Early Access.
SHOP PUBLIC ACCESS!
Starting July 22nd the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will open to the public! That means you can scope out all the pieces you want beforehand, and shop them as soon the 22nd hits! Just be warned that often items sell out fast {like this one Kate Spade bag I wanted last year!}, so if you really want something, shop it now while you can!
REMINDERS
Remember that prices go up August 8th so you don’t want to miss out! If you have your eye on something in particular {a new bag, a pretty dress, or some beauty essentials}, get them while you can for the discount! August 7th is the last day to shop the sale!
Also, the free shipping and free returns all the time is a major plus! You can always return whatever you don’t like, or doesn’t fit. You better believe I’ll be buying a few sizes since I have no idea what I’ll be able to fit into post baby!
