Towards the end of my pregnancy Matthew and I started talking about doing one last maternity shoot together. The only photos we had of both of us with the bump were from our announcement shoot and I was barely showing back then. When I found out one of my favorite photographers Ryan Ray was going to be in town in August, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to shoot some maternity photos. Ryan is an incredible fine art photographer and I’ve loved his work for years! My biggest concern was that I’d go into labor early and wouldn’t be able to shoot with him, but luckily the baby stayed put! These maternity photos are so special and I know I’ll love looking back on them one day. And hopefully Augustine will like them as well! Who knew that in less than two weeks our lives would completely change.
