Happy Thanksgiving Week everyone! This is one of my favorite weeks of the entire year. Family is in town, the house is decorated, and the smell of home cooking fills the air. The weather is getting chillier with the highs in the 60s all week. That means it’s officially fall! Halleluiah! I thought it would never get here!

This year we’re with my parents in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving so we’re going to be doing some fun activities around town, especially since my Dad’s birthday is a few days later. I went to the LACMA museum last week and unfortunately it was closed for a private event. We got to walk around and check out the rock but I still want to go back for the exhibits. If you haven’t been to LACMA, it’s definitely a must the next time you’re in the city. They also have the cool Urban Light exhibit.

This outfit is my way of bringing in bold prints and brighter colors, while still looking appropriate for fall. I love the classic plaid print on this Old Navy button-up; the color combo goes with so much. You could pair it with olive, burgundy, gray, and even black. I wore it with this bright blue corduroy skirt because my wardrobe definitely is lacking in the skirt department. Plus, corduroy is such a classic fall material. You gotta wear it while you can! With so much blue going on, I chose a neutral camel-colored pea coat to go with it, though. This jacket is perfect for the cooler weather we’re having!

What are you all up to this week? Hopefully taking it easy and enjoying time with family and friends!
