I feel like gifting can be a little stressful during the holidays. I always try to get my gift list taken care of as early as possible, but there are always others that get added to the list, like colleagues, neighbors, and our delivery men and women. It’s my go-to, and one I can stock up on, knowing I’ll find someone to give it too during the holiday season.
Ever since I was little my mom would gift me a Burt’s Bees® lip balm in my stocking. Without a doubt, I knew I’d have my winter chapped lips taken care of come December 25th. I think these stocking stuffers were my first introduction to the Burt’s Bees brand. Since then I’ve bought their beauty and home products {I’m obsessed with their lipsticks!}, and I’ve even gotten some cute baby products for Augustine! I’ve always loved the natural mission and philosophy behind Burt’s Bees. They focus on natural skincare, and even have responsible packaging. The story of how they started is also really sweet and will make you love the brand even more.
The Burt’s Bees Essentials Kit is my go-to for an affordable stocking stuffer that anyone will love! It’s a great introduction to the brand, because it contains some of the best, most popular products. The kit contains the deep cleansing cream, the hand salve, the milk and honey body lotion, the coconut foot cream, and yes, the lip balm! It’s great for girls and guys and I love that they’re made with natural ingredients. I’ve definitely become a little pickier with products these days and the fact that there are no parabens, phthalates, or petrolatum is such a good thing!
Their Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream is great at removing dirt and makeup, and I usually always take it with me when I travel. Their Milk & Honey Lotion is almost always in my purse. It’s non-greasy and absorbs quickly. When your hands are really suffering from dry skin, you absolutely have to use their Hand Salve. It’s made with botanical oils, herbs and beeswax. I love the little tin it comes in! The Burt’s Bees lip balm is still my favorite one ever. I put it on nightly before I go to sleep, and whenever I need a little extra moisture during the day. I’m regularly stocked up on the Original and the Acai Berry, but Vanilla Bean might be my favorite, especially this time of year! Feet often get neglected but the Coconut Foot Cream is a great nightly tradition. You slather some lotion on, put on some socks, and you’ll have soft baby skin by morning! The peppermint extract is also really soothing before bedtime.
The Burt’s Bees “Bee Nurtured” holiday set, which is available exclusively at Walmart, is another great stocking stuffer, especially for those focused on skincare. It contains their popular facial cleansing towelettes with white tea extract, as well as their one with cucumber and sage. Plus, there’s also the vanilla lip balm! The towelettes are my fave, especially for traveling. If you have friends or family visiting from out of town, you know this will be put to use almost immediately. It’s such an affordable stocking stuffer idea too because it’s under $10!
