I’m so excited to finally be sharing this post about my favorite cookbooks with you all! If you’ve been following for awhile you know I love to cook. It’s been a little challenging to find the time lately with Augustine, but I’m looking forward to getting back to my favorite hobby and also sharing more recipe posts with you all soon- especially desserts {my fave!}.

choosing my favorite cookbooks to share my top cookbooks I use at home

One gift that my friends and family know I will always love is a good cookbook. I have a crazy collection and I do reference them all the time. One of my favorite Sunday morning traditions is waking up, pouring myself a cup of coffee {or fixing a latte if I’m feeling fancy} and sifting through recipes in my favorite cookbooks. I’ll meal plan for the week and get inspired by delicious looking dishes. I’ve made countless recipes from these cookbooks, but there are still more on my To Cook list! Sometimes there aren’t enough meals in the day! 😉

My Favorite Cookbooks

Oh She Glows Every Day by Angela Liddon
Angela Liddon is one of my favorite food bloggers and I love this cookbook of hers. She is all about plant-based cooking, and this cookbook gives great ideas about how to cook healthy vegan recipes even with a busy schedule. The recipes are simple and easy to cook, but still taste so good! I’m a pescetarian so sometimes I like to make the recipes my own by adding cheese or some kind of fish.

It’s filled with recipes that are perfect for home-cooked dinners with family and friends and gives so many helpful tips about entertaining. Ina Garten’s recipes are all about comfort and ease. You’d be surprised how simple they are, and yet totally delicious! Ina is always my go-to for a dinner party because I know the dishes will always turn out and not leave me too stressed.

The Forest Feast by Erin Gleeson

This cookbook is so incredible because it seems like it’s half cookbook, half art book. The photographs of the food are breathtaking and are accompanied by gorgeous watercolor paintings done by the author. Aside from the aesthetic appeal of this cookbook, Erin Gleeson gives so many easy to make vegetarian recipes that usually only include a few ingredients and a few steps. They are so simple, so healthy and so yummy! Once Augustine is big enough I’m going to get The Forest Feast with Kids so we can cook together! That’s something I’ve been really looking forward to!
