Alright I know you all have heard about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale nonstop since it started yesterday and I don’t want to bore you but it really is the best sale of the year! What I love most about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that they put all the new Fall styles on sale for you, instead of pushing out their Summer styles with the new inventory. Nordstrom {being the best store ever} allows it’s Nordstrom cardholders to gain early access, starting July 13th, to new products at an impressively discounted price. If you aren’t a Nordstrom Card holder you can still shop the sale once it goes public on July 21st, but be warned, this sale is incredibly popular and your favorite items could go FAST!
Luckily, Nordstrom allows some sneak peaks so I’ve compiled a list for you here of some of the best picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I’m sure will sell out!
Tops
A couple of easy ways to survive the Fall/Winter’s in California are spicing up your blouse collection with a couple new colors. I know most people like to stick to navy’s and blacks for the Fall, but you could be missing out on a cute new blouse to add to your collection. One of my favorites is this cute pink velvet top– how pretty for dinner dates and holiday parties?!
Bags
I LOVE finding a cute bag on sale! Some of my favorites {as you all know} are from Kate Spade, and this new Atlantic Blue color has me swooning! Ps. It’s over $100 off! I’m also noticing some darker grey toned bags that will look great with any outfit!
Outerwear
I’m a huge fan of Fall sweaters and jackets, I usually don’t get around to wearing them until December/January, but I love wearing them around the house on cooler Fall mornings. One thing I’ve noticed is that bell-sleeves are not going away for the fall, Halogen has two super cute bell sleeve options for under $50 this fall, {Swing Top and the Crewneck) you definitely want to add these to your list! A timeless staple for a fall evening at the theatre or walking around the coast is this Camel colored coat, and it’s priced pretty well!
Jeans
If there is one thing I can’t survive fall without, it’s dark wash denim! Some of my favorite denim brands are coming out with more and more options for cute high waisted looks! This pair of Rag & Bone denim is the perfect pairing for some new booties! New black jeans are also a necessity, especially with a little boy starting to eat solid foods!
Shoes
But now for the main event, SHOES! And let me be the first to say, comfy shoes are where it’s at! Love these old school Vans so much! Another favorite fall shoe is the ankle bootie! These booties are perfect for all occasions and will quickly become a wardrobe staple {ps. they come in three other colors}. Last but not least, heels and more heels! If there’s one thing I always stock up on for Fall it’s the shoes that will impress at all those holiday parties! These Sam Edelman sandal heels are the perfect summer to fall shoe! Plus they’re in two versatile colors!

I know I get a little nervous when the back to school vibe hits and Summer nights start getting shorter, but having some cute pieces for Fall always helps me end the Summer with confidence! Don’t forget that prices go up August 7th so if you’ve got your eyes on that favorite jacket or bootie make sure you shop early! The credit card and debit card options will both get you in early, I personally recommend the debit card option because it draws right from your account and creates a worry-free shopping experience! If you’re unsure of some the items you see online try setting up an appointment with your nearest store and tell them the items you are interested in so they can have them ready for you to try on! Nordstrom has a reputation for making their shopping experiences as easy and as memorable as possible so don’t be afraid to ask for what you need!
