Do you ever feel like you just need to get away or do something a little different? I’ve heard that new moms often cut their hair because they just need some sort of change. After 9 months of pregnancy, a birth and baby, they want a new look that reflects that. Plus shorter hair = easier hair! I didn’t feel a big desire to do anything different after having Augustine, but lately, I’ve been feeling it more and more. Maybe it’s because we’re in a new fall season, but I also feel like my life right now is a lot of the same. While Augustine is having all these incredible changes and milestones, I’m over here just feeling like the same person, although slightly more exhausted with each passing day. While I was seriously considering bangs {if you follow on InstaStories you know the saga!}, I also wanted something a little darker and more dramatic. The need for change while dealing with consistency is a real one. Can anyone relate? I might not be able to hop on a plane and go on a solo vacay, but I can dye my hair, and maybe one of these days I’ll get bangs!
I couldn’t resist getting this dress because holy sleeves!! I love how the volume and high/low cut of the sleeves balance out the more simple shift dress style.
Obsessed with these pom heels! They are the perfect holiday shoe! I was debating between this color of the pink, but I think this one is a little more wearable!

Darker hair feels good for fall although I do wish the weather would catch up a bit. It might be in the 80s this weekend but I’m going to make a cinnamon latte, bundle up in a scarf and sit in the AC if I have to!
