March is here and it always feels like a little bit of an in-between month. Even though the first day of spring was yesterday, it still feels as if it’s winter. And I say “winter,” but you know in Southern California it’s really not that bad. Still it’s been chilly for us lately so I’m looking forward to wearing spring clothes.
Lately I’ve been thinking of ways to restyle classic pieces. I love my traditional denim jeans {this pair is a recent favorite}, but I’ve been looking at styles that feel a little more updated so I was drawn to this wide leg style, and this tapered pair with the bow. I feel like either would look super cute, with a plain tee, or a fancy blouse. I love denim that could be dressed up or down because it makes it that much more versatile.
I really love this flowy blouse with the tiered silhouette. The stripes are light and subtle and I love the pom tassel on the back. Did you see that, by the way? I didn’t notice that detail online but it was something I noticed in person. Such a fun touch that would make me want to wear my hair up with this top!
If you saw my post yesterday, I’m really into shoes I can slide on and off. Makes it so easy when I’m trying to get out the door quickly. This pair of mules reminds me of a pair I loved and wore all the time last spring {remember?} but in a coral/peach color. If you want a little pop of color, shoes like these will totally help! I also love adding a bit of color with a bag choice, or an accessory. What do you think about these earrings? They also come in some other fun colors, but also white if you want something more simple.
But back to the shoes! I’ve been on the hunt for cute sneakers, and I know a lot of you have mentioned to me that you are too! I’ve had my eye on this pair of star sneakers of months. So so cute, although a little pricy. I was so happy to find this affordable option yesterday when I was running errands. Which would you pick?
