Hi there! I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend with your loved ones {or got a little R&R during the long weekend!}. We visited my parents for Thanksgiving, ate some really yummy food, and started decorating our house for the holidays. Oh! And I did quite a bit of Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping. I wanted to share what I bought this weekend, plus some of the sales that are still going on today, so you can take advantage and hopefully get some holiday gifts at a discount!

What I Bought Over Thanksgiving Weekend
Of course, I had to get some of my holiday shopping done over the weekend. I can’t reveal exactly what I bought as my girlfriends read my blog {love you girls!}, but let’s just say I found a lot of cute thing here. If you still need to find the perfect gifts for your girlfriends, candles have always been a hit with my friends. Especially this scent {it’s the really amazing one they always burn in Anthropologie stores}! Jewelry is also always a hit, so I might grab one or two of these really pretty charm necklaces to keep on hand for last minute gifts.
I also can’t share what I specifically bought for my parents {hi Mom and Dad!}, but I’ve had success in the past with picking up pretty tops for my mom {like this beautiful one that comes in so many flattering shades} and classic sweaters for my dad {Everlane has such affordable cashmere options that you don’t even have to wait for a sale!}.
I wanted to stock up on some essentials that I knew we’d have to pick up throughout the year like cotton underwear from Gap because I feel like it’s a good thing to update! We also picked up new clothes for Augustine since he is growing so fast! Too fast, I might add! I’ve bought him these pants in a few colors in the past, but this time I bought some in one size up from what he wears now. That way we’ll be ready when he gets bigger! And how adorable is this chunky sweater?? I can’t believe how cute some of these toddler clothes are!
I hate overspending on maternity clothes since I won’t be able to wear them for too long. I figured the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales would be the perfect time to pick up some maternity pieces. I ordered this dress and this t-shirt from ASOS {love their maternity selection}! I love these leggings and they were on sale for 30% off so I picked up a pair for post-baby wear. I’m sure I will get plenty of wear out of them once baby number two arrives!
We try to hold off on any purchases that can wait during the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving weekend so that way we can get them at a discount. Matthew and I have been wanting to get a few wicker baskets to help organize our laundry room and ordered two of these baskets over the weekend. We also ordered out holiday cards which feels like a big win! I feel so relieved that they’re already on their way. If you’re curious, we went with this design!
