April Edit: Blue and Coral
You know when you’re scrolling mindlessly while online shopping, not looking for anything in particular? Well that’s what I was doing when this floral printed blue dress stopped my scrolling! The pattern and color is just so pretty for spring {although I’m loving the pink version too}. The dress is gorgeous and I love long dresses, but the fact that it was 40% off sealed the deal for me! For some reason I have been drawn to pretty shades of light blue lately. Maybe there was too much pink around when I was pregnant with Corinna {did you catch her insane birth story?!} lol! These light blue mules come in pale pink too, but again I am so drawn to the blue. I think the blue shoes would pair perfectly with white jeans like these. Who knew Old Navy had so many affordable white jeans available?!
These white striped pants would look great with the mules too. I like that the pants and matching top are designed to go over a bathing suit. The water is still pretty cold here, but it’s warm enough to take Augustine to play in the sand. I thought this coverup outfit would be perfect to wear over a swimsuit or even a pretty camisole.
Originally I had this vision of crisp whites paired with blue. Then I started day dreaming about makeup {I’ve been cooped up way too long!} and thought blue and coral would be the prettiest combo. I thought this Essie polish would look great on fingers or toes. But a coral lipstick would work too! Alright, these flowers aren’t a beauty product, but I was thinking of ordering them off Amazon. I love Tulips and can’t get over how affordable Amazon makes it to send flowers. Just a little tip from me to you, they’re way cheaper than a florist!
Jewelry is always a great way to accessorize an outfit, but you can’t really update your jewelry wardrobe all that often unless you find affordable pieces. All of the gold pieces in this edit are under $50! Can you believe that? I was so drawn to these oyster earrings. I thought they would be perfect for spring and summer with their mermaid vibes! I also love the idea of picking up some personalized jewelry like an initial necklace for Corinna or a zodiac bracelet based on Augustine’s sign!
