Facial oils have been all the rage these last few years and I can see why! I’ve tried so many over the years and my skin generally responds really well to oils. They are so moisturizing and I love that so many are made of great natural ingredients! Not all facial oils are designed for the same purpose, so I have five that I rotate in and out of my routine depending on my skin’s needs at the moment!
P.S. You may notice I was still pregnant when I took these photos. I really loved using facial oils while pregnant because they’re so natural!
My Top 5 Go-To Facial Oils
SHOP THE POST
Beauty Counter No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil
This oil instantly hydrated my dry, winter skin, and is super lightweight and non-greasy. Unlike some of the other oils I’ve tried. It also has a fresh, delicious citrus scent which I love and leaves my skin feeling fresh all day long!
This Australian-based oil is a true lifesaver so I totally get the name! It is full of antioxidants that tackles any dry patches or acne on my skin, and as a plus, it’s a completely clean product. It also is super affordable for how effective it is! I would highly recommend this oil!!
KORRES Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil
Rich in omega 3, 6, 9, fatty acids, and boosted with super vitamin C, this oil is ideal for improving the skin’s overall tone and texture. I love to put a couple of drops on my makeup brush before applying my foundation, which helps give me a flawless, airbrush finish. This might be the prettiest oil bottle I’ve ever put on my vanity too! Don’t you lose the rose petals?
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Hands-down one of my favorite Kiehl’s products! I’ve used this oil in the past and have loved using it again in recent weeks! With the new baby, I am definitely not getting as much sleep at night, but when I apply this before I go to bed I wake up with my skin looking so awake and revived! It contains lavender and primrose essential oils, which have calming and moisturizing properties and as a plus, smell divine.
This affordable, 100% organic oil is great for sensitive skin and is scentless for those of you who are sensitive to smells. It is great for reducing any redness or oily skin. I like to add a drop or two to my daily moisturizer!
I’m always interested in trying new facial oils! Who doesn’t love super soft and moisturized skin?! Aside from oils, these are a few beauty products I would love to try! Have you tried any of them?
