It’s almost hard to believe that I used to love mini skirts so much because now all I want is a midi! Midi skirts are my favorite because they give a bit more coverage when I’m with the little ones. When I was pregnant, I really missed wearing skirts. Maternity skirts just don’t look the same. Now I’m embracing my skirts as much as I can! When I’m running errands or out with the family I want a casual but pretty outfit to wear, so that’s why I’m loving casual midi skirts for summer. They end up being quite versatile!

I was so obsessed with this leopard print midi skirt a few weeks ago, I thought I would stock up on another printed one for summer. As I mentioned earlier, the longer length is just more practical for me at the moment. Plus I feel like it can give a simple outfit a dressier vibe. I paired this polka dot skirt {similar vibe to that green dress I wore earlier in the month!} with a basic white t-shirt, and comfy flat sandals. How cute are the little bows on them? I wish they came in black too! Of course you could add a great pair of heels to dress up the look. This pair is almost like the heel version of the flats I’m wearing!
Surprise surprise, but I found two really pretty yellow midi skirts that I love. They aren’t as mustard colored as the other pieces I’ve been wearing though! They are both more of a marigold shade. This pleated one is a bit more subtle, but I love the print on this one {it’s on sale btw!}.
If green isn’t your style, this white and black polkadot midi skirt is so pretty too! See, there are endless options! Like these floral, ruffles, and wrap options!
P.S. All of the casual midi skirts below are under $100!
