Why is it that finding the perfect pair of jeans can be such an ordeal? I actually dread jean shopping but I actually found a way to make it a lot more enjoyable, and easier too. I tried on multiple pairs of jeans and I’m happy to say I found the perfect pair of white jeans and blue jeans!! Keep reading to find out all about it!
By now I’m sure you all know what a fan I am of Trunk Club. They’ve made shopping so much easier for me especially since I have very little time to go try on clothes in stores with a baby and toddler. I can’t do that to myself, or my fellow shoppers!
I also just love my Trunk Club stylist Carolyn because she always picks out such great pieces for me to try out. The whole experience is so personal since we talk back and forth about what I’m looking for and she really tailors my Trunk for me. She totally understands my personal style and suggests different clothing items for me that just work. For my latest Trunk, I wanted her to put together some pieces that would give me a little jolt of confidence. It’s been a little hard to get used to my postpartum body and I’ve been wanting some pieces of clothing that make me feel more like myself. Of course, I had to include jeans in that list because even though I’m a dress gift, jeans are just SO easy for running around. I thought I’d really rely on Carolyn’s experience as a Trunk Club stylist to pull the best of the best jeans for me to try on. Personally, I hate shopping for jeans because I have to try on so many to find one that works for me. Having her curate options that she knows will be the most flattering made it a lot easier for me. And trying them on in the comfort of my own home was even better. Nothing like jean shopping in a small dressing room with terrible lighting, am I right?!
While I actually loved all the denim she sent in my Trunk {check out my Stories today to see the try on}, I really loved this pair of Frame jeans. I’ve heard from countless people how flattering Frame denim is and boy are they right! As soon as I tried on this pair, I was sold! The color is classic and incredibly versatile and I love how secure I feel in them. They definitely give me an extra bit of confidence and for that, I’m grateful. Carolyn suggested I pair these jeans with the perfect white tee and I love the look. I sized up to a Medium and love the fit but if you want it to be a little tighter, go with your true size. This outfit is simple but still feels stylish for being out and about. I love that I can wear it casually during the day with a pair of flats but dress it up for a night out. These days I have little time to primp for date nights so a simple shoe change is ideal!
White denim is a classic for summer and this pair from AG had such a nice fit! I loved that they weren’t too fitted and I could cuff the hem for a more casual vibe. I paired it with my favorite brand for button-ups, Rails. Carolyn, my Trunk Club stylist, introduced me to the brand last year and I have to say the quality on their tops is perfect. It’s worth the price because of the quality and how well it stands up for wears and washes. They also have the best choices of prints and patterns.
So happy with these pieces Carolyn sent me – which definitely give me a boost of confidence! Have any of you tried Trunk Club yet? What did you think? I just love how easy they make the whole process. As a reminder, with Trunk Club your stylist will send you their proposed Trunk, based off her assessment of your style and your preferences. You agree to what you want them to send, or ask to switch out some pieces. You get your Trunk in the mail, and then have 5 days to try everything on and decide what to keep. Anything you don’t want gets set back, at no charge. If you don’t want anything, no worries, the Trunk can be sent back and you just pay the $25 styling fee (waived if you have a Nordstrom card). It’s so low pressure and it’s so fun to work with someone who loves fashion as much as you do (or maybe more!).
