Can I just say this is probably my favorite outfit I’ve worn recently? It started off with this basic white tee {here is a more affordable option} but I was just not wanting to wear jeans. Actually, I couldn’t have worn a pair even if I wanted because they were all in the wash. {Last week was one of those weeks where nothing really got done and I just kind of avoided the big pile of laundry growing in the corner. Still am…} Anyways, I reached for this midi skirt instead and I’m so happy I did. The mustard yellow felt like a breath of fresh air and a more appropriate choice for our current weather. I added in a denim jacket {also love this denim jacket!} because it’s such a staple and all of a sudden I had this combo that just felt way more me. Don’t you love when you put together an outfit that makes you feel happy and confident, and more like yourself? I’ll admit I’ve worn my fair share of outfits that didn’t make me feel 100% so this outfit was a good reminder to wear what makes me happiest.

I’ve been obsessed with mustard for some time {you’ve probably noticed!}, but this midi skirt looked like it would be a great casual option for summer or fall. I especially love the button detail, but this version doesn’t have any! I already know I’m going to get a lot of use out of this skirt because of how comfortable it is. Plus, the length is great for mom life since I can still get down on the ground and play. I’ve been searching for a classic white tee lately and have heard the best things about The Essential Top. I love it! Yes, it’s a little pricier but it holds up so well and the fit is just perfect. Since I’m currently nursing I’m getting one size up but this tee does tend to run a little small. So if you don’t want it too fitted I would order one size up.
Bucket bags are such an iconic style and I am just a little jealous that this one is currently an additional 40% off its sale price. I don’t even get it! You could wear this bag with countless outfits for years to come and it surprisingly holds much more than you’d think. If you’re in need of a bucket bag, I’d highly recommend this one!
