Fall fashion can be really fun. It can also be really un-realistic. Especially if you look at the runway shows! Which is why I wanted to come up with a good professional outfit that you can wear that still feels stylish, but office appropriate. Not to mention warm, because I know no one wants to freeze their booties off at work!

I know office style can get a bit dull, but sometimes that is the name of the workwear game. Depending on what type of work environment or industry you’re in, the dress code can vary. I worked at a law office once that was super buttoned up, but I’ve also worked at fashion companies where there wasn’t really a dress code aside from looking stylish. Nowadays, I fall somewhere in the middle. I still like to dress professionally when I take meetings, but I also need stylish and comfortable looks. I thought this outfit combo fit the bill and might help some of you out! I get a lot of styling questions about work outfits which I find interesting. It seems like finding the perfect outfit for your 9 to 5 can be a bit stressful.
The multicolored sweater and pants felt like a step in the right direction. Both are more fun colors than black and grey, but are still muted enough they look professional. I paired this look with a slingback chunky heel to dress the look up a bit, but you could totally do a loafer if heels aren’t your thing. ICYMI, here are some of my favorite fall shoes!
