Ahhh how is it already almost the Fourth of July?! I swear every year the 4th just sneaks up on me. I’m always throwing together a last minute outfit, and which means I’m also throwing together some last minute outfits for the kids, lol! I think dressing up for the 4th of July with the family is so fun, and there are some absolutely adorable 4th of July outfits made for little ones that you can order and get pretty quickly, or even throw together with clothes you might already have. I don’t know about you guys, but I love any excuse to dress up my little ones in cute new outfits, and 4th of July is the perfect occasion! For any last-minute 4th outfit, I think the best place to start is by picking one easy color and then using the other two to accessorize. Starting with white is usually a great way to go!! I love this little white skirt overall for girls, it seems so perfect for 4th of July! Starting with navy is super easy too, I think that this flutter sleeve navy shirt would be so cute paired under the white overalls! Now that you have your white and navy, accessorize with red! How cute is this little red bow?! Add the bow, some cute little shoes like these red espadrille sandals, and your gal is set! Oh and you know how I looove accessorizing with woven and straw items. Well, they have straw totes for girls and I think it’d be so perfect and cute for the fourth. Finish with some styling sunglasses and her outfit is complete!
I think using the same rules to find an outfit for boys works just as well! Start with a navy or white tee, this one comes in both colors! For the bottoms, twill shorts are a great option. These shorts come in tan, red, and navy, so you can pick the shorts based on what color shirt you chose! BTW, Nordstrom does curbside pickup, so you can get these items super fast. To make the outfit even more festive, add some fun accessories!! This striped belt and these American flag socks are SO cute. A pair of boat shoes and some sunnies are the perfect way to complete the look and will have your little guy looking so stylish!
