Sometimes I feel like it’s totally cliche to say Audrey Hepburn is my style icon, but she is definitely one of them! I can’t say I’m not constantly inspired by old photos and movies I see of her. As someone who grew up watching Sabrina and Roman Holiday and danced and sang through my bedroom to songs from My Fair Lady and Funny Face, I can say without a doubt that Miss Audrey played a role in my life.
A few years back I shared a post about the 10 Pieces to Build an Audrey Hepburn Inspired wardrobe. These are all items that I own and wear regularly! When I think of Audrey’s style, I feel like most people gravitate towards her iconic black dress and pearls from Breakfast at Tiffany’s or her pairing of slim black pants with a striped shirt. My Fair Lady was my absolute favorite and I still sing those songs all the time! Since my bump wasn’t really working for my Audrey outfit I decided to save that for another day, and instead share 10 Pieces to Build an Audrey Hepburn Inspired Wardrobe. If you’re always been in awe of her style, I think you can easily recreate it. Here are the pieces I would recommend:VIEW POST
Happy Sunday friends! The sun came out today after a few rainy days and it was so beautiful. We went on a family walk and I can’t tell you how refreshing it was to feel the sunshine on our faces. Also the fact that we didn’t need our big puffy jackets was amazing. It makes me feel like spring isn’t too far away!
