In honor of the best sale of the year, I decided to put together a special Friday Five. My favorite retailer started their Anniversary sale yesterday and it’s the perfect opportunity to buy some fall styles before they become full-price. The fact that they can even do this is kind of amazing! Usually you think of sales happening on old items they’re trying to get rid of, but new items? Yep, pretty cool! 
I’m a new convert to hats. I used to think they just didn’t work on me, but now I love them! A great hat can totally make an outfit even better, don’t you think? This GRAY FEDORA is in a versatile shade so it would go with tons of late summer outfits and transition well into fall! Also, you won’t believe the price. cough under $20!!
Last year I was hunting for a perfect brownish/gray coat and couldn’t find one. This SLOUCH COAT is the right price {under $100!!} and it looks so cool with denim and a comfy pullover sweater.
Nude lips are so pretty during any season and I’m obsessed with this LIP KIT that features a full-sized liner, lipstick and gloss. It’s a great set to make sure you have pretty pouty lips!
I love a good bucket bag {wore this one a ton!}, and think a FRINGE BUCKET BAG would be a nice little update. The fringe works for bohemian summer outfits, but can be paired with traditional fall pieces as well.
While I love heels, I can’t resist the right pair of flats. These SNAKESKIN FLATS are polished and pretty and would be a cute style to wear in the office, but also on the weekend with a simple shift dress, or a pair of ankle jeans! The color and material is sophisticated and super chic!

Have you been noticing all the pretty off-the-shoulder pieces lately? It’s a silhouette my wardrobe definitely lacks but one that I really do like. Off-the-shoulder pieces are bohemian and fun, and they just make me think of summer! I saw this dress and thought it would be a great way to test out the style. It’s a dress that could be worn out and about, but it also would make a great beach cover-up. And if you’re feeling extra fancy it could be dressed up for a special event with a low bun, statement earrings, and pretty pumps! One thing I had to get used to was not raising my arms too high {apparently I do this a lot!}, because the sleeves pop right up! But other than that I felt so comfortable in this dress. Makes me want to get another one in a brighter color!

We’re in full-on summer mode over here, which means we’re grilling up a storm, and doing a lot of backyard entertaining! While we still have some work to do on our outdoor patio, there are some little additions that totally perk up our parties! For one, these polka dot tumbler glasses {drink with Rose Sangria if you know what’s good for you!}. They’re so cute, and even cuter with some paper straws.
I’ve been looking for some new coasters and these agate ones would look great in our living room. {You can probably tell I have a thing for blues!} And how cute is this pineapple candle? It would make such a fun hostess gift and a great conversation starter!
