Hello! I hope you’re all doing well during the midst of this hectic time we’re living in. Before diving into this post, I wanted to note that I had it planned and ready to go before the recent coronavirus escalations. I’m remaining optimistic that we’ll all be going back to normal life soon and hope my blog can serve as a positive and welcomed distraction during this time. Recently, I shared a mom’s night out outfit that I loved! It was the perfect mix of cute and practical. You can see the outfit here! Matthew and I are way overdue for a date night and with our anniversary coming up, I wanted to find a good going out outfit that felt a bit flirtier. Enter: puff sleeves. Keep reading to see why I think puff sleeves are the new “going out top”.
Hi Friends! How are you all? I feel like the last few days have been a little crazy with all the Coronavirus updates. As of right now, we’re staying home and following the recommended social distancing. It’s hard but I hope by doing this we’re able to flatten the curve and keep the immune-compromised people safe and healthy.
I’ve been feeling so many thoughts lately, and of course trying to keep things as normal as can be for Augustine and Corinna’s sake. This weekend we read a lot of Curious George, baked bread and a big pot of chili, and I caught up on some house projects I’ve been neglecting. In the midst of everything, I’m just trying to focus on gratitude – for my family’s health, the opportunity to be home together, and the chance to reflect on the simple pleasures in life. I know there are so many people in harder situations right now and my heart is with them.
I’m praying all of you and your families are staying safe during this confusing time. I want to be sensitive to what’s going on and so while I do have some content planned for this week, like a hair accessory roundup, my favorite going-out top, meal planning tips, and a March edit, I’m not sure if I should put it on hold. I value all of you so much and would love to know what you think. Do I carry on as usual, take a break for the week, or is there any content you’d be most interested in with all this extra time at home? I’d love to know!
Thinking of you all!

I can’t believe Easter is just around the corner! Which also means spring is just around the corner! I love picking out a special Easter dress each year, and this one was a bit of a splurge but it’s by a designer I’ve been obsessed with. I feel like I can justify spending a little more on an Easter dress since I can wear it all spring and also for my birthday! The price per wear tends to go down- wink wink! BUT I also found some gorgeous under $100 Easter dresses that would be great options. Hopefully this post will help you out and you’ll find your perfect Easter dress!
