Summer is our favorite time to be outside! During the day we want to be at the park or the beach, soaking up that beautiful California sunshine. After we put Augustine to bed, it’s still light outside, so we take the opportunity to be outside just the two of us. Today Matthew is sharing his top grilling tips for summer, along with our go-to easy summer dinner. The dinner hits the spot and is on the table in no time, which is a must in case the baby wakes up!
1) Incorporate something tropical. This white pineapple would be a fun additional to an entryway table, coffee table, or even in the bathroom.
2) Seaglass is beautiful in home decor. This blue vase would look stunning with some seasonal flowers, like peonies, arranged inside. Vases also make a great hostess gift!
3) When you’re entertaining indoors and outdoors, trays are a necessity. These birch colored ones come in sets of 2 so you can carry the same vibe for your guests indoors or outdoors. Also, it would look great on a vanity or a bar cart.
4) Even if it’s just your phone or sunglasses laying around, make sure they’re covered in a stylish way. This pink phone case will be the perfect addition to any outfit and this glasses case will help your sunnies safe and sound while you’re in the pool!
5) When you need some extra seating, poufs come in handy! They also look chic on their own holding your current summer read.
6) You know I have a candle addiction and this one from Illume smells heavenly of coconut milk and mango. It’s the perfect light summer scent to fill your home!
7) Switch out your regular pillow cases with this yellow one. The print stands out yet isn’t too overpowering. Pillows are one of the easiest home changes and make quite a difference!
