4th Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest

October 31, 2012
Every year Matthew and I have a little competition that consists of carving the most magnificent pumpkin. He’s won a few times and I’ve won a few times. So this year, the competition was fierce I tell ya! The voting is actually going on tonight, though. The judges, aka the trick or treaters, will pick their favorite jack-o-lantern. Let the games begin!

Happy Halloween everyone!
I hope your day is perfectly spooky!

I love a good necktie blouse. They add a little something extra to dress an outfit up. Also you can tie it into a bow, which is a major plus if you’re a bow-lover like myself.

Well, my hair got slightly darker this weekend. I’m not sure how crazy I am about it. I’m just so used to my natural color, but I’ve always wanted to have darker hair for fall. I figured why not try it out. It will {hopefully} grow back to normal eventually!
I hope you all had a great weekend! Here’s a fun Halloween week!

I’m finally getting around to posting photos from my collaboration with Brahmin for their Fall 2012 Catalog. I was chosen, along with some other fashion bloggers, to show how the modern woman wears her Brahmin bag. I’ve been a huge fan of Brahmin for years so to be picked was a major honor. I loved styling some of their new bags for the Fall season and I’m excited to share some of the photos here! Fun fact: these photos were taken on a warm summer day!

I am so excited for the weekend! Matthew and I are getting our pumpkin carving on, finalizing our Halloween costumes, and filling up the candy bowl. You can see where are priorities are 🙂

Have a great weekend everyone!
