I’m back from my long weekend in New York City, but I miss it already! It’s been too long since I’ve had a trip to the Big Apple and I loved being able to combine a work trip with a best friend trip. My best friend Lizzie and I have wanted to go to NYC together since we were kids and it worked out perfectly, especially since she’s now living in Philadelphia. We fit A TON into our weekend, but it was so worth it! Sharing all the things we did and the restaurants we went below. Hi everyone! I’m so excited about today’s post because it’s all about our fall decor! I love anything home related and decorating is one of my favorite parts of any season. I always think fall is especially fun to decorate for. It might be because it feels like we’re welcoming this cozy familiar time of year where you just want to be home, snuggled on the couch with a soft blanket and drinking a cup of something warm. Augustine’s Construction Truck 2nd Birthday Party

My little boy is two and I can hardly believe it! Where did the time go?! I’m sure I’ll be saying this for years to come, but it still feels very true now. These last two years have been filled with so much joy and happiness thanks to our sweet Augustine. We were so happy to celebrate him the other weekend and, of course, a construction truck birthday party seemed only fitting! Augustine is obsessed with construction trucks and while his first word was Mama, “Boom” was a close second! He loves to make the motion of a dump truck dropping its load with the “boom” noise it makes. This obsession might have started around the time we got this book. Interesting! Anyways, I’m excited to share some photos from Augustine’s construction truck 2nd birthday party, as well as all the details for where we got everything. I definitely couldn’t have done it without help from my sister in law Grace, who has the cutest Etsy shop, and makes the best party invites and supplies!
