Whether or not you realize it, most of us have certain rituals that we carry out on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. Some are basic rituals, like writing a morning To-Do list, others are more complex, like spring cleaning. They might be more thought out, like planning a certain holiday party every year, or they might be second nature, like hanging your clothes up after you wear them.
I just finished reading The Happiness Project and it made me realize how important these rituals are to our overall quality of life. I thought I’d share some of my Beauty, Fashion, and Fitness Rituals with you here, in the hopes that maybe it will inspire some of your own.
From recipe testing to family photos, the Thanksgiving holiday has been an entire week of activities! But, the festivities are not over… the best Black Friday Sales are finally here! One of my favorite parts of the weekend is Saturday morning. They just feel absolutely amazing, especially after a crazy busy week. It’s a time to allow yourself to relax a little bit and do the things you’ve been wanting to do Monday through Friday. Matthew and I usually wake up, make a quick breakfast at home and then go out for coffee. When we were dating our coffee dates were a major highlight. We always went to Peet’s and got “The Perfect Drink,” which was basically a vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso. It’s our favorite, hence the name!
