I’m a sucker for Gorjana jewelry, and these MINI SHIMMER STUDS are soo cute! I love how tiny they are! Why is everything so cute in small sizes?
I don’t know about you but I am so ready to put away all my chunky sweaters. If I have to wear a sweater I want it to be a THIN, LONG-SLEEVE CASHMERE SWEATER like this one! The color is versatile and would be a great choice for spring. I’d wear them with some HIGH RISE SKINNY JEANS or a pretty skirt!
STUDDED FLATS are super cute, but when you don’t have all the $$ to spend on the Rockstuds, these would be great. They come in some great color options and you really can’t go wrong!  
It’s going to be a rainy weekend for us in LA and you know I am excited! I’m heading to J.Crew to hunt this MINT ANORAK down. It’s the perfect light pastel shade and I’ve found myself kind of ill-equipped for rain. I lived in Seattle for two years and don’t know what happened to all my rainy day gear. It must be somewhere..
Happy happy Friday everyone!! This weekend I have the house to myself and I’m kind of excited! I’m going to miss Matthew but sometimes weekends alone can be soo nice. I’m going to stay up late, drink wine, watch Gilmore Girls {I’m on Season 5 in case you’re interested in how I’ve powered through it the past month! #obsessed #reobsessed #lukeandlolelai}. So yeah, it’s going to be pretty exciting and eventful! What are you guys up to? Share share share! Especially if it involved watching Gilmore Girls from the beginning!

a valentine’s day shoot

When I stumbled upon this love wall a few months ago I knew Matthew and I had to shoot here for Valentine’s Day! When I was younger I remember dreaming about my forever Valentine. Looking forward to the day where I’d have a date on every February 14th. I dreamt of the fancy dinners we’d go to, the presents we’d give each other, and the perfect and happy life we’d have. Now that I’m older, and obviously wiser, I’ve experienced holidays spent apart, casual date nights at home, forgoing presents for a trip, and the realness of marriage and life spent together. It’s not always perfect and happy but it shouldn’t be. I love that I do have that forever Valentine though. Someone that loves me for who I am. Who has been there through the best of times and some of the worst. The person that knows a hug and a kiss is sometimes all I need to totally make me feel better. No matter what we’re doing, or where we are, we are together and connected. I feel so blessed to have someone like Matthew in my life and I hope you all are with {or on your way} to your forever Valentine too!

Matthew and I were in a long distance relationship while we were dating and two of my best friends are currently going through them now.  I’m so excited to share their stories with you!

Let’s talk about stripes and pink. Stripes look so good with anything and everything but I’m especially loving how this BLACK AND WHITE STRIPED TOP looks with this PINK SWING SKIRT. The ruffled hem is darling and I’d totally wear it with some pretty sandal heels for a night out, or a pair of pointy flats and a blazer during the day.

I saw this PINK BUCKET BAG the other week and I am obsessed! Isn’t the color so pretty too? It’s called oleander. I have a new found love of bucket bags. They are such an easy purse to run around with. You can fill them with lots of stuff and they work crossbody as well, unlike a tote. 
I recently got this NEUTRAL EYE PALETTE and it’s amazing! The colors are perfect for wearing everyday but you can also easily transition into a nighttime look by smudging the darker color along the crease. It’s a great palette to take with you during the day.
Gorjana makes some of my favorite jewelry! Everything is so feminine and delicate. I love her rings and they’re perfect to layer together. I like this MIDI RING SET because you can wear one, two, or all three. It’s a pretty and understated accessory!
I hope you all have a great weekend!! I’m doing some baking tomorrow, after a mess in the kitchen today. It was pretty bad..don’t ask. But I think a new day with more ingredients will totally help!
