There are so many things I’m looking forward to during the month of October {apple pie making, pumpkin picking, dinner party hosting} and there are a lot of pieces of clothing on my wish list. A girl needs to dress the part, right? {Why is shopping during the fall so addictive?!} I saw this cozy BLANKET SCARF and it totally set the tone for my Friday Five. I’d wear it during the day while out and about in MID-RISE SKINNY JEANS  or I’d wear it while curling up at home on the couch wearing a CABLE TURTLENECK SWEATER with a good book and a cup of warm apple cider in hand. 
These OVER THE KNEE BOOTS in dark caramel are a fall essential. I have a pair of black ones from last fall/winter that I wore all the time but I can see myself pairing these brown ones with so many more outfits.  
This gorgeous STONE RING HAND CHAIN is such a stunning piece. It would make such a statement and you really don’t need any other jewelry. It’s perfect just on it’s own!

my burberry

Perfume is one of my weaknesses and every season I look for a new scent. I was recently in Nordstrom and finally got my hands on the new BURBERRY perfume My Burberry. It’s inspired by a London garden after a rainy day. Rain is my favorite type of weather, which is a big surprise to some people. I look forward to it all year long! This perfume captures that scent perfectly though and reminds me of this one afternoon I spent at a local nursery while I was living in Seattle. There’s the smell of roses, sweet peas and freesia anchored by geranium. It’s feminine but a little earthy. Now I’m just craving a trip to London to smell the British rain!

Wearing a perfume like this one makes me want to dress in cozy cable knits, perfectly worn-in denim, and fall {& British!} prints like plaid! Perfume frequently has that affect on me..making me dress in a certain way. Does that happen to you too? Do you ever find yourself wearing light, airy dresses with soft floral scents, or black, slightly edgy dresses with rich and musky scents? It must be the sign of a perfume addict..haha!

This pretty little MAJE PUSSY-BOW- MUSLIN BLOUSE is such a classic piece. I could see myself wearing it with most anything. I love that the bow adds a slight feminine touch without going too overboard.
Last week I was obsessing over this floral skirt..and then I saw these MIDNIGHT FLORAL PANTS! These pants you guys! They are perfect! I’m all about some fancy pants and when it’s cold out I can totally see myself wearing these more than the skirt. Although that skirt is pretty lovely! 
Gold delicate necklaces are so beautiful and I’ve been accumulating a little collection from Gorjana. Her jewelry is dainty yet makes a statement with the cool designs. This GORJANA MAVE NECKLACE is next on my list!
Fall is officially here as of Tuesday {hooray!}. To celebrate, I’m planning on burning a new fall candle this weekend! I got this DIPTYQUE NOISETIER HAZELNUT CANDLE earlier this summer in early anticipation of fall. It really is my favorite season!
Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean my sunglass obsession is going anywhere. I’m on the lookout for a new pair of black sunglasses since I wear my Karen Walker Super Dupers all the time! These ILLESTEVA HOLLY SUNGLASSES have a cool exaggerated cat-eye and I love the retro vibes!
