My Must-Give: Dooney & Bourke

 While fall is my favorite season, there is one thing that takes a little bit of adjustment—the new color palette. While pastels and brights can still work for fall and winter, for the most part, neutrals and darks are the more acceptable shades. Because of this, when shopping, brown becomes my go-to color when I want to make sure I can wear an item no matter the season. And this Dooney & Bourke Croco Fino Small Satchel is one of those “wear any season bags.” {Thank goodness!} Dooney & Bourke let me borrow this lovely bag to style for the fall and winter seasons, and I was so excited to put it to the test. I think the texture of the croc-embossed leather is perfect for any season; it adds a depth and richness that you might not get with a smooth leather bag. Brown and green is one of my favorite fall combos, so I paired the bag with this pleated floral dress—and just like brown works for any season, so do florals.

what I wish I was wearing today

I feel like we got a slight taste of fall around here and then it got hot again! Mother Nature can be such a tease sometimes. While I’m questioning  bringing my summer dresses back out of their storage boxes {so depressing!}, I’m dreaming of wearing something a little more like this. You know I’ve been leather obsessed recently, so when I saw this pair of leather lookalike jeans I became obsessed! They’re  coated skinny jeans that are comfortable yet super chic. I love the idea of pairing it with a fuzzy sweater, like this one! It kind of reminds me of one I had back in my Clueless-loving days, It just looks so comfy for fall/winter. This pair of pointy-toed flats would look great with this outfit. I feel like they give an effortless vibe, and they’d be so ideal for running around LA. I’d top the outfit off {literally!} with this wide brim fedora style hat, since I’m still determined to make myself a hat person. Of course I’d need the perfect shade of berry lipstick as well! Hoping I can wear something like this very soon!
Also, another thing I wish I was wearing was my nail wrap design! I am SO excited to announce a collaboration with Scratch and Pose. Scratch and Pose asked 3 bloggers, myself included, to design a unique nail wrap. I wanted to include some of my favorite elements, like polka dots and florals. I was really excited to see how my vision came to life.
