Can you believe that February is tomorrow? In a lot of ways this felt like the slowest month ever, especially when you’re not eating any sugar, but it also seems like it went by super fast. And as soon as it’s February 1st, Valentine’s Day is literally right around the corner. Although my grocery store was telling me that just days after Christmas!

Since the 14th is exactly two weeks away I thought I’d share some casual Valentine’s Day outfit inspiration with you all. This outfit is a little more subtle than most- there’s some pink, but it’s not overly girly. I love the rosey-mauve color of this sweater and how it looks with the lighter pink in the bandana. If you’re not big on Valentine’s Day, or aren’t planning on donning a fancy dress, this outfit is for you!

sweater . jacket . jeans . scarf . booties {love the whiskey version too} . bag . watch {can you believe it’s a smartwatch?!} . nail polish in Really Red . lipstick in Grace

How do you guys feel about the necktie scarf trend? I wore one last in this post, with a lace cami and long trench, but I love this silk bandana style with the sweater. It makes my sweater outfit not quite as basic.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I’m going on a beach walk with a new mama friend and the babies today and I’m so excited. The weather has been surprisingly nice these last few days so it will be good to get a little Vitamin D! Plus, it’s so nice to be by the water!
