If my entire wardrobe was made up of lace, that would be fine by me. I am such a lace girl! The thing is, though, I usually always wear lace in a more dressed up capacity {church, weddings, birthday parties, brunches, etc.}, but lace actually looks great styled more casually. Today I’m showing you how to dress down a lace dress for spring. Hopefully this will give your lace dresses a little more versatility for the upcoming seasons!

Jean jackets are always a good go-to for a dressed down look. I wear jean jackets so often in the spring and summer with sundresses, or shorts and tee shirt outfits. It’s the perfect outerwear. I love how it grounds the lace a little bit and makes it more appropriate for any day of the week.
For this outfit, I added in accessories in a neutral brown because that’s a great everyday color choice. Nude would look great with this outfit but I think it would elevate it a little too much. Brown keeps things more casual.
Another option for how to dress down a lace dress is to add my favorite jacket {currently 30% off!!}, and some cute espardille sandals. I’m loving that outfit idea! And when in doubt, swap out accessories for an easy day to night look!
