Matthew and I {and Ginger} had a very fun 4th of July weekend! We went down to San Diego to see my bestie Lizzie and Matthew’s family and then came back to LA yesterday to spend the afternoon and evening with my family. It was just the weekend we’ve been needing and I’m even more excited that Matthew has the day off today so we can relax from it all.
There was pizza at Pizzeria Luigi in San Diego, a sundae bar at Matthew’s Nana’s house, pretty and delicious marshmallows decorated by Matthew’s sister Grace, brunch at Parkhouse Eatery, lots of puppy love!, watermelon/orange/feta salad, and a delicious Strawberry Fool for dessert {meaning you’d be a fool to think this dessert was healthy!} Oh yeah and really cool fireworks! The bottom right one makes me think of a bouquet of Baby’s Breath, don’t you think? I hope you all had a happy and safe holiday!
