Not only are we ready to say goodbye to another month, but we’re also saying goodbye to a year. I’m going to post a little 2013 wrap up later this afternoon but I wanted to share some of my December highlights as well. This was the first year I’ve done the monthly highlights and I have to say I’m really glad that I did. Previous years have gone by so fast {they always do}, and then it’s hard to remember what events made it so great. Wrapping up each month like this has helped me appreciate both the big and little moments. It’s kept me a little more present. Here were some of my highlights from the twelfth, and final, month of 2013:- My Dad decided to dress up Ginger with a little bandanna headscarf. Look at that little curl!
- I went to a fun dinner with ASOS in LA!
- My hair has started to turn a little reddish in the sunlight.
- I hosted a holiday event at the Kate Spade store in Santa Monica!! {dress on the left and right}
- Dressed in tulle and a beanie!
- Embraced the holiday spirit and decorated our apartment!
- Went to some fun holiday parties with Matthew! The bottom photo is me accepting my Oscar haha!
- Celebrated Christmas with my family {and stayed in pjs almost all day long!}
- Traveled up to Walnut Grove to see my aunt and uncle and some cousins! It was so fun to see Ginger run around. She’d never seen so much space before! It was also really special to take Matthew. It was his first time seeing my Dad’s hometown, and the place where my family and I spent a great deal of time when I was younger.
