For the Love of Food

December 19, 2013

I’m sorry to do this to you so early in the morning, but I just had to. I’ve been pinning up a storm of tasty looking treats, pretty pastries, and delicious desserts. With some pre-Christmas festivities in San Diego this weekend, a party on Monday, and then the real deal on Tuesday/Wednesday, I need to get my recipes together. There are so many amazing things I’d love to make, hopefully I’ll have the time. These are some of the top contenders {although maybe I’ll save the glitter ones for New Years!}.
Head over to Lulu*s blog today and you can see the recipe for one of my favorite holiday desserts, Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting. I always love making them for my family, but I sometimes have to double the recipe because they want it for dessert and breakfast! I come from a big sweet tooth family! Cupcakes and coffee is kind of the norm around here!
Do you have any cooking or baking traditions for Christmas or New Years? I’d love to hear! Oh and have any of you tried homemade egg nog? That’s another one of my favorite traditions!!
