I’ve always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with my skin. My skin has always been one of my trouble areas. I grew up having terrible acne in middle school and high school so I’ve using acne medication ever since. As a result, my skin is extremely sensitive, and prone to discoloration. Also, growing up in California, and spending a lot of the time at the beach {thank you besties and Matthew}, I’ve gotten a few dark spots that I am determined to get rid of. Here’s a photo below of my #bareselfie below. You can tell my skin also looks a bit dull and blah. If you were staring at my skin up close you’d see the exact spots I’m talking about!

When I heard about Lancôme’s DreamTone serum I was really excited to test it out. My mom is a devoted Lancôme fan so she was the first to turn me on to the brand. It’s my go to for powder – Dual Finish Matte Bisque II all the way! Lancôme is claiming that their DreamTone serum will not only diminish dark spots, but also brighten dullness and even skin tone. All things I’ve been desperately looking for in a product. It was like Lancôme was reading my letter to Santa or something. I’ve been incorporating the product into my daily routine, and I’ve noticed that my skin is glowing {like sweet sixteen status!} I’ve been applying it for a little over 4 weeks now and I’ve definitely noticed the evenness with my skin tone. Apparently Matthew has as well, because the other night he thought I was going to bed with my makeup still on. Oh, sweet Matthew, I seriously love him even more for saying that! Looking in the mirror, though, and not seeing as much redness on my cheeks and nose has also been so incredibly awesome. Why oh why is that such a common issue for us girls? Redness needs to hit the road and never come back.
I’ve been using the product twice a day, in the morning and at nighttime, underneath my moisturizer. It’s easy enough to remember, and a good encouragement to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Something else recommended by my mom!
An extra perk is that it makes my skin feel like butter. And I can’t even tell you how happy it makes me that I can recommend one of Lancôme’s products to my mom first! It’s usually the other way around! You can get the Lancôme DreamTone serum at Lancome.com and department stores nationwide. It is $98 for a 1.3 fl.oz bottle of pure magic.
