cinco de mayo

Cinco de Mayo is always a fun holiday to celebrate. It’s a day I love to eat yummy Mexican food {preferably fish tacos with lots of chips and guac}, practice my Spanish {I took it throughout middle school, high school and college!}, and wear bright, happy colors. This Shoshanna dress is absolutely beautiful, and obviously stands out because of its use of color mixing. The dress is classic and feminine, yet has a fun element with colors of pink, tangerine and turquoise. I just realized that classic, feminine and fun is exactly how I described my style recently in an interview. So this dress is obviously meant to be! I paired it with a fun pillbox clutch and the heels that I obviously can’t get enough of

People asked on Instagram about the comfort of these heels and while they don’t have any additional cushioning they are pretty comfortable. I can wear them all day no problem. I think they also have a really manageable heel height which helps. Plus, the fact that you’re laced in gives a little bit of support. Overall, I love these shoes though and I’m sorry/not sorry you’ll be seeing more of them 😉
