Florals are one of my favorite prints {tied with polka dots probably!}. I usually wear them on their own so when Verily Magazine asked me to style them head to toe, I had to go through a few different options. I ended up with this chambray shirt that has a subtle rose print. It’s floral but not so in your face. I think when pairing two types of florals together it’s important to have some kind of differentiation- in my case size. The size of the roses in the top is much tinier so it doesn’t overpower the already bold print in the skirt. Another difference was that the flowers on the top are white, whereas the skirt’s florals are in color. haha that was my mindset in putting this outfit together! What do you think? Does it work?
top T.J.Maxx {similar}. skirt Darling {also love this one with roses!}, shoes Sole Society, bag Brahmin {sold out but here’s another pretty magenta bag}, necklace T&J Designs, cuff bracelet J.Crew

Happy happy Wednesday everyone! This week is going right on by! Yesterday I had a fun time hosting an event for JustFab. We did DIY projects on shoes and bags. It was so nice spending the afternoon on a creative and crafty project. I wish I had more of an opportunity to do stuff like that. It’s so helpful to take your mind off things. I left feeling re-energized and full of ideas for other projects!
