Hello, Friday! I’m glad you’re here. I’m looking forward to sleeping in a little bit tomorrow morning. The only thing is I wish I had a cute eye mask! It’s been so bright in the mornings that I keep waking up earlier than I need to. I think we need to re-evaluate our bedroom curtain situation. I got the sweetest surprise from Coach today! Flowers to celebrate the launch of their new perfume Poppy Wildflower. I almost didn’t notice the perfume bottle tucked into the flowers! The scent is heavenly. I’m kind of a perfume addict {and collector} and this one is going to be on heavy rotation. It’s a little warmer than their traditional Poppy perfume, with notes of vanilla and musk. It’s unique, feminine and ultra-romantic. If you’re by a store this weekend I’d definitely recommend testing it out. Being the girly girl that I am, I’ve realized a need for a heart print dress in my wardrobe. How I don’t have one is beyond me! This one from J.Crew is super cute and would be a perfect fall dress. I love the thought of it paired with some simple ballet flats for work. These fuchsia bow heels are pretty amazing too! I love the bright and vibrant color and while I think it would be the perfect party heel, I’m also loving the idea of it paired with with ankle cropped jeans and a pretty white blouse. I’d wear that all day every day! And maybe carry around this embellished clutch too! Perfect for a date night!
What do you have going on this weekend? Besides sleeping in, tomorrow we are doing some house painting. We’re changing the front door color and I can’t wait for you to see! It’s going to look tons better. Saturday night Matthew and I are finally having a sushi date night. It’s been too long and we need to raise up our Mercury levels!
