Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This holiday was a special one for my family and it made me so happy that we could be together. I woke up early this morning and made an apple pie {it’s one of the many things I still need to check off my Autumn List}. My brother Anthony came over and we hung out, drank coffee, and made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies {I could eat 10 of those suckers in one minute flat!}. Matthew, Anthony, Ginger and I went over to my parent’s house in the afternoon. We had to stop twice for heavy whipping cream because who wants apple and pumpkin pie without a little whipped cream on top? Not us! We pigged out the yummiest food, drank sparkling apple cider, and started a new show, Luther. It was a laid back day which was really nice and just how I wanted to celebrate.

I feel like I had a lot to be thankful for this year and these people {and pup} are at the top of the list. I’m so grateful to have such a strong and loving family. My life is what it is because of them and I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve had some ups and some downs this year but going through it together has made us that much stronger, and it makes you appreciate the good things so much more.
I’m grateful for the new friends I’ve made this year, as well as the relationships I’ve continued to foster. My friends and I have made such a strong effort for our monthly girls nights and we’ve created so many fun memories including wine tasting, going to see the Sound of Music, and eating at lots of yummy restaurants!
I’m so thankful for all the exciting opportunities I’ve been given this year, the chance to be creative and try new things. My blog has been such a huge part of my life for the past 5 years and I’m so thankful for this outlet. I’m also so incredibly grateful for all of you, who come here and share in my outfits, my recipes, my day-to-day. It means so much! I’ve become friends with many of you through emails, lunches, even text messages. I wish I could gather all of you in one room together and we could just hang out and talk. It would be so fun! Until that happens, know that I am so grateful for you and I appreciate you all so much!

I hope you had a lovely {and food-filled!} Thanksgiving!!
