We are now halfway through the month of January. Can you believe it? I know I’m not alone in my
be more active resolution for the new year, so as a little inspiration I put together some workout essentials to keep us encouraged. A new pair of running shoes is a great motivator for hitting the gym or trails, don’t you agree? After hiking in Hawaii I could totally use some newbies! This gray pair of running shoes is super fun with the coral laces. It’s a neutral statement maker {that’s a thing!}. After meeting certain goals, I like to reward myself with fitness items like water-resistant earbuds or a cute new water bottle. I swear it keeps me going! This year I’m striving to be more active, and while that includes the challenging, sweaty, breath-stealing workouts, it also includes taking more regular walks with Ginger, choosing the stairs more often than the elevator, morning yoga videos at home, evening bike rides, and weekend hikes with friends. I feel like including these seemingly small activities will create a larger and more beneficial result overall.

One of my favorite motivation quotes is,
“There is no one giant step that does it. It’s a lot of little steps.”
So, here’s to more workouts, no matter how big or small they are!
