ah finally! I have been waiting for so long to share these photos with you. When Matthew and I moved into our house last February, we couldn’t wait to decorate it and make it out own. In our previous apartments, Matthew and I didn’t do much in terms of painting and decorating because we were just renting and trying to be practical. As soon as the papers were signed for the house, though, I started brainstorming and pinning…there was lots of pinning.
OUR HOME TOUR
I found Shea McGee of Studio McGee via Instagram {thank you Internet!}, and knew she would be the perfect person to help make my vision a reality. Working with her was a dream because we have similar aesthetics and she seemed to always find the perfect piece. This tour is just our entry way, dining room, living room, and reading nook. We still have some other rooms of the house that needed to be finished but we’re starting here. I hope you like what we’ve done!
These starburst mirrors were above the couch in our old apartment but we decided to move them to our dining room in our house. I love them here!
The print above the bar cart is by Gray Malin. It’s of one of the beaches in Positano, Italy, where Matthew and I spent the last few days of our honeymoon.
These pretty ruffled wall hangings are from Shea’s soon-to-be-launched site! They add a nice feminine element.
I have been obsessed with these blue pillows from Furbish forever! I love that they have a little neon pink in them too!
I had to bring in one of my favorite prints, stripes, with these fun pillows from Hedgehouse! The navy stripe tied in the blue in the living room.
